Our vision
mobilezone incorporates social, economic and environmental aspects when defining its approach to sustainable business practices. For us, this means taking responsibility across all areas of our company by being a safe and attractive employer for our employees and providing our customers with comprehensive and expert advice from purchase to potential repairs, refurbishment and disposal of a device. We build on long-term customer relationships and, where possible, offer sustainable or environmentally neutral alternatives. In the upstream value chain (e.g. suppliers and manufacturers) and in the downstream value chain (e.g. customers and users), we minimise negative impacts and maximise or optimise positive impacts. This approach allows us to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible while ensuring long-term success, always in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Our strategy
mobilzone’s sustainability strategy applies to all companies within the mobilezone Group in Switzerland and Germany. It is aligned with mobilezone's core business in its primary market of telecommunications. In its sustainability strategy mobilezone focuses on the key areas of "Governance & Compliance", "Employees", "Customers" and "Environmental Management".

Sustainability management
Sustainability is an integral part of the corporate strategy of mobilezone Group. Sustainability management defines the organisational and functional framework for implementing the sustainability strategy. It includes aspects such as organisation and responsibilities, communication as well as monitoring and reporting.
Organisation & responsibility
The Climate & Sustainability Committee acts as the highest decision-making body and approves the sustainability strategy. It meets twice a year as part of the regular Board of Directors meetings on sustainability, with the goal of driving the sustainability strategy forward.
The Group Management is responsible for the sustainability strategy at the highest level and reports sustainability matters to the Board of Directors.
To advance sustainability efforts operationally within the company, an ESG Committee has been established. This committee consists of employees and leaders from both the German and Swiss organization. Its purpose is to further develop the sustainability strategy at an operational level, create a roadmap, collect sustainability-related topics within the organization, define their importance, develop a communication strategy on sustainability and monitor and report to the Group Management. Additionally, it serves as a point of contact for employees. There is regular exchange between the Group Management and the ESG Committee, as well between the ESG Committee and business representatives from both countries.
